An in-person design service that holds your hand through the entire design process.

When I meet with a client, I learn who they are by discussing their lifestyle, design ideas, desires, and tastes. I then create a mood board translating what I’ve learned into your design roadmap. From there my team and I will coordinate all outside work such as ordering furniture, installing light fixtures, etc, until our big and final install day when you walk into your transformed and completed space!



For the initial consultation, we will meet in the space(s) you wish to change, discuss your likes/dislikes, budget, and desires. I will take photos and measurements of the space, which will help establish parameters for the design and layout. I will then generate a scope of work and deliver to you the consultation outline, definition of needs, and time line.


This is my time to go to the drawing board. I will create drawings of the existing space and floor plan. I will then take those drawings and use them to create sketches of your new design. The presentation will include the floor plan, sketches, mood board, and furnishing suggestions to help you visualize your new space. After our design meeting, I will make any revisions to the design and finalize them into your master plan!


I will handle all of the logistics of executing your design plan, including research, shopping, placing orders, and communicating status updates to you. I will also coordinate deliveries, installations, and other trades’ work.


This is my favorite part of the design and by far the most rewarding! This is your reality TV moment during which you leave for the day while my team and I come in and complete the transformation!

Malfatti Interiors offers a variety of design styling and consulting services. (all styling and consulting services are a 2hr minimum at $100/hr)


LOCALS ONLY (Raleigh or Wilmington areas)
This is a 2-hour minimum service where we work together to take what you have, rearrange, and pull together an organized and styled space. *Includes a follow up shopping list of items you can add to your room.


Interior Styling Service begins with an on-site consultation that will provide answers to your questions and give guidance with:
• Space planning and/or placement of furnishings
• Balancing and/or creating a color scheme
• Understanding how to use scale & volume (size of space and ceiling heights) to your advantage
• Creating a focal point
• Creating more effective light sources
• Transitioning a space to a different function. Ex: guest bedroom to office
• How to edit and de-clutter
*Includes a written follow-up summary to help create a solid design direction that you can implement within your own time frame and as your budget allows.
